The Latest Rumors of the New iPad Release 2018

For some of us, our Apple iPads are our lifeblood technology getting us through each day. So, Apple had us on the edge of our seats during their new iPhone unveiling in September. When no new iPads were mentioned, there were still some questions lingering in the air.

iPad Rumors
We’ve all seen the rumors by now…no home button, larger screen, face ID, etc. But what is true? And what is false?

Features
It’s highly likely that the next generation of iPads will not have a home button since that has been the trend in iPhones as well. This means that Face ID must be included in the features. Plenty of rumors have circulated around these two features, making it that much more believable.

According to MacWorld, it’s unlikely that the iPad will remove the headphone jacks this year. Great news for everyone who was skeptical of the switch.

Additionally, it’s been rumored that OLED will also not be added to the new models. If this is the case, Apple will need to implement something extra special to keep up with Samsung’s Tablet S4, which is already on the market. Just imagine what that might be!

Timeline
One can only speculate what Apple has up their sleeve, but we do know for sure, that everyone is ready for a new iPad. It’s been nearly a year and a half since the last iPad Pro update.

Most people are looking eagerly to October for a possible iPad launch, but there have also been some rumors we won't be seeing the new models until early November. In any case, we’re ready for something new and improved.
